You can apply for leave to enter or remain in Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) category if you have been offered employment within your faith community in the UK as a minister of religion, missionary or member of a religious order.
This category is open for applicants who are outside European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland and who have been issued a certificate of sponsorship by their UK employer that must be registered as a licensed sponsor.
In order to apply for Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) you will need to score 70 points. You will be awarded 50 points for the certificate of sponsorship from your employer. In addition, you will need to meet English language (10 points) and maintenance (10 points) requirements.
Anglia Immigration Law can advise and represent you in making your leave to remain or entry clearance application in line with the certificate of sponsorship. We can also assist you with your dependants’ visas in line with your visa.
Should your Tier 2 application is refused by the Home Office we can help you challenge the refusal decision lodging an appeal or making a request for an administrative review.
