You can apply for a UK visa as a parent of a child who is a British citizen or has Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, or has lived in the UK for at least 7 years immediately preceding the application date and is under 18 if you have a genuine and subsisting parental relationship with that child and sole responsibility or access right.
There are other requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain leave under this category, i.e. English language, maintenance and accommodation requirement.
Please contact Anglia Immigration Law for detailed explanation of the Immigration Rules concerning a visa for a parent and an advice from professionals to establish if you are eligible to apply for such visa.
In an unfortunate event of refusal of your application we are here to advice you on your right to appeal against the adverse decision made by the Secretary of State.
